Opportunities for volunteers
|
Wildlife Asia is looking for help to create an event like no other! We are looking for talented, self-motivated, and creative individuals for the following roles:
1/ Full-time/part time Wildlife Asia Management Executive
Wildlife Asia requires someone ideally with management/event management or business background to help with the day-to-day management of the company and share responsibility of key areas of communications and sponsorship management.
See #1-2 below for full details.
2/ Volunteers approx 10
Volunteers can help in any of the roles detailed below (#1-4). Each role will require a different amount of commitment. Volunteers can take on more than one area of responsibility if they are up to the challenge!
NB: a/ in lieu of a full-time member of staff for the above, the responsibilities for #1-2 can be shared between a number of volunteers.
b/ Wildlife Asia can provide free fundraising training for volunteers, courtesy of Ewing Communications.
Requirement for all volunteers and staff working for Wildlife Asia
Anyone who works for Wildlife Asia may be required to deal with senior leaders in government, the private sector, the international television industry and the NGO community. It is thus essential that Wildlife Asia staff and volunteers have the right level of maturity, are comfortable with this kind of responsibility and are able to represent Wildlife Asia accordingly.
Though a deep understanding of the issues is not required, it is expected that volunteers will have a keen interest in conservation & environmental issues, and will be willing to learn more about the issues that pertain to Wildlife Asia during their time with the company.
